Help your alarm ring

1. Set an alarm in Wakebound and choose a wake-up challenge.
2. Allow the alarm or notification access that your iPhone and iOS version offer.
3. Check your iPhone settings if an alert does not arrive as expected.

On Android, allow notifications and the alarm-related access shown in Settings > Permissions. Full-screen alerts and background behavior depend on your Android version and device settings. Try a short test alarm with the screen locked after setup.

Wakebound’s alarms work on the device. Optional remote rival notifications are separate and are not needed for a Wakebound alarm to ring.

An unfinished wake-up challenge remains unresolved when you leave Wakebound. Reopen the app to continue it. Wakebound can restrict navigation inside its own challenge, but cannot prevent you from locking your phone, using another app, or stopping a system alert. iOS controls alert delivery, sound, and hardware buttons.

Notifications

One wake-up, one history

Open the bell on Home to see your notification inbox. Alarm cards show your selected character, the saved event time, and the confirmed next ring after a successful snooze. Open a card to see its history. An alert being dismissed does not mean its wake-up challenge was completed.

In notification settings, choose optional evening, bedtime, and weekly reminders, quiet hours for reminders, and character autoplay. Quiet hours do not silence your scheduled wake-up alarm. Autoplay respects Reduce Motion and stops when the character is not visible.

On iOS, enable Rival notifications to receive supported rival requests, Wake Attacks, and results through Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. This is optional and requires notification permission. Turn it off in notification settings at any time. Rival preferences, muted rivals, quiet hours, and sound choices are applied by the delivery service after they sync.

Private notification previews hide personal details in supported Wakebound notification presentations. Also use your device’s notification-preview settings to control what appears while the screen is locked. Expanded notifications and Live Activities depend on your iOS version and system settings; the small system banner does not continuously animate.

Challenges, beasts, and boss battles

Choose a wake-up challenge, complete it after your alarm, and build progress with your beasts. Boss battles unlock through play. Premium opens Premium boss gates, but it does not complete battles for you.

Account and data

Back up, export, or delete your data

Wakebound works locally for alarms and core progress. Backup & sync is optional and stores a cloud copy of your save when you choose to use it. You can export your save from the app.

To erase an account and its cloud data, use the Data & storage controls in the app. You can also request account deletion by email. The privacy page explains what is deleted and how deletion records and backups are retained.
